Can you remove coatings from an occupied building without closing it?
That is where this platform earned its record. Roughly one million square feet on national big-box retail exteriors, performed while the buildings stayed open and selling. Radiant energy heats the work, not the air: precise conditioning of the thermal environment at the coating's face, driving the water out until the coating releases on its own. No chemicals. How is this different from chemical stripping or blasting?
Strippers put chemistry on the wall and blasting puts media and dust into the air, and both leave you managing what they added. Radiant removal adds nothing. The coating releases from the surface, the substrate stays what it was, and the residue is the coating itself: tested non-hazardous by TCLP. What does it do to the wall underneath?
The trade is environment, not force. Accredited masonry testing under ISO/IEC 17025 sits in the record, and material conclusions belong to the engineer of record and their instruments. We deliver and document the specified thermal environment; calibrated thermal imaging documents the surface start to finish, and the record goes in the closeout package.
What surfaces does it work on?
Masonry is the proven pathway. Along the way, the same radiant process that releases coatings breaks down efflorescence into a loose powder — no acid wash, no pressure cycle; the chemistry is in the open literature; the method is patent-pending. And steel is in the family: sensed radiant removal of bonded linings from tanks and hulls, and holding prepared steel above dew point so flash rust never starts. Patent-pending. The demonstrated record is masonry, and we label it exactly that way. On steel, questions about how any given method is classified under a facility's permit regime are determinations for the cognizant authority, not something we'd assert about our own equipment. The process is electric and flameless at the point of work, and we expect to work inside whatever framework the facility applies.
